$38,644 - $46,374/yearAbout this job:The Registered Behavior
Technician provides observation, coaching, modeling and training,
on a referral basis, to school teams who request support with
individual students who exhibit behaviors that interfere with their
learning or the learning of others. Collaborates as part of a
multidisciplinary Behavior Team and partners with building-based
school social workers and school psychologists, special educators,
school administrators, paraprofessionals and other central office
staff in the development and implementation of data-driven,
evidence-based positive behavior interventions and supports. The
goal of these supports is to develop adults' prevention,
intervention and reinforcement skills to promote students' positive
behaviors. Works under the guidance of someone who is a Board

Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), school social
workers/psychologists, Behavior Intervention Specialists, and other
special educators and school administrators, supports and coaches
building staff in evaluating, implementing, and monitoring
specially designed instruction based on evidence-based behavioral
interventions and accommodationsDelivers direct Applied Behavior
Analysis (ABA) services to support students with disabilities
requiring ABA as part of their IEP or 504 planMay also conduct
direct Applied Behavior Analysis assessments for students with IEPs
or 504 plansImplements district-based data collection
systemsAttends relevant in-service training and required
meetingsCollaborates with team members to develop and deliver
monthly training sessions for school staff and special education
team membersWhat You'll Need:High School Diploma/GED
required;Bachelor's Degree in Education, Behavior (ABA), Special
Education, Child Development, Psychology or related field OR 1 - 3
years of related experience is highly preferred1+ years of related
professional experience requiredRegistered Behavior Technician
(RBT) Certification is requiredLead for racial and educational
