• Employment Type: TravelPride Health is hiring Travel Surgical Techs to support our client's facility in Lakewood, CO 80228. This is a 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.Duties:Assists the surgical team by setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies, following physician preference cards, and ensuring proper inventory and labeling.Provides instruments and equipment during surgery, assists with draping, and maintains sterile techniques throughout procedures.Prepares and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment, and assists with the cleaning and setup of the operating room between procedures.Performs counts with the circulator, delivers specimens, and applies dressings, while assisting with various surgical tasks such as retracting and suctioning.Participates in quality improvement, maintains efficiency under stress, adapts to changes, and supports staff development by educating new team members.Float Requirements: YesLicensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:Education: HS/GED is requiredLicensing/Credentialing: Certification in Surgical Technology, Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)Experience: One year of experience in a surgical setting preferredShift Time: Variable 10 hr day shift with the ability to stay for late casesLocation: Lakewood, CO 80228Guaranteed hours: 40 hoursTravel Gross Pay range: $1200 - $1614/Week*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.Interested?
